CHP in the News Bea Karnes, Petaluma Patch

Earlier this month a CHP officer in Sonoma County saved a wounded blue jay. Now, a CHP officer is responsible for saving an injured fox. The officer was on patrol on Barnes Road Monday when the injured fox was spotted. The small creature had been hit by a car. Sonoma County Wildlife Rescue responded to the scene and took in the fox, who’s being nursed back to health. The goal is to release the fox back into the wild.
