CAHP Foundation Scholarships
Trustees of the CAHP Foundation, a non-profit, charitable (501 (c)(3)) trust fund, administer four scholarships each year. The Creedon and Garibaldi and the Fran and Harry Xanders Memorial Scholarships are awarded to dependents of active or retired CAHP members. The Medal of Valor Scholarship is awarded to dependents of CAHP members who have been awarded the Medal of Valor, and the Herman L. Lenz Memorial Scholarship is available to dependents of any active California police officer or deputy sheriff. The deadline for submissions of applications for the 2010-11 academic year has passed. To be considered for the 2011-12 academic year, check back for the application in May, 2011.
