CAHP Cares Request
Officer Johnathan P. Tanner, I.D. 21518

E-mail blast

The CAHP CARES Committee has established a CAHP Cares account on behalf of the family of Officer Johnathan P. Tanner, ID 21518 from Antelope Valley. Sadly, he passed away Friday, March 15, 2019.

Officer Tanner had an inoperable, cancerous tumor attached to his spinal column. He also developed a viral infection (encephalitis), as well as two lesions on his brain.

John graduated from the CHP Academy in May 2016. That means he was not yet vested. His condition was not considered work-related.

The CAHP Cares monies raised would be contributed to his wife Jessie, and their two young sons. Jessie is also expecting a daughter in the coming months.

Please keep John’s family in your thoughts and consider making a donation to them via the CAHP Cares Fund. Checks can be made out to “CAHP Cares,” with “Tanner Family” in the memo line, and mailed to:

The California Association of Highway Patrolmen
Attn: CAHP Cares
2030 V St.
Sacramento, CA 95818

You can also click the button below to donate via PayPal. The CAHP Credit Union has also set up a fund for the Tanner Family.

CAHP Cares contributions for the Tanner family will be accepted until June 21, 2019, when they will be forwarded to the family.
